A critical vulnerability (CVE-2025-22462) has been identified in Ivanti Neurons for ITSM/ITAM. This affects all supported on-prem versions and potentially impacts unsupported versions as well.

Vulnerability Summary:
CVE ID: CVE-2025-22462
Description: Authentication bypass in Ivanti Neurons for ITSM (on-prem only)
Impact: Could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to gain administrative access
CVSS Base Score: 9.8 (Critical)
Versions Affected: 2023.4, 2024.2, 2024.3 (supported versions)
Versions Not Affected: 2023.2 and 2023.3 – however, upgrading is still recommended
🚨 Action Required
Cloud (SaaS) Customers:
No action needed. This vulnerability does not affect cloud-hosted environments.
On-Prem Customers:
A patch is available now via the Ivanti License System (ILS) portal.
To apply the patch:
You must be on a supported version (2023.4, 2024.2, or 2024.3)
If you’re on an older version, you will need to upgrade before applying the fix
The patch process takes approx. 30–45 minutes of downtime and will not affect existing configurations
Customers Using Only ITAM:
Because ITAM shares the same platform as ITSM, ITAM customers must also apply the patch.
